All students are assigned a House to act as their living and cooperative learning center. The Houses of McTavish each have their own hallowed history that encourages comradery and the competitive spirit. In the battle against the forces of darkness, teamwork is essential for victory! With each House boys and girls have separate dormitories. Children from 5-8 years of age have another set of dormitories adjacent to the Housemaster, who is a one of the schools many Professors. Within each House a Head Boy and Head Girl are elected as student leaders. Unless otherwise requested, students with a family history in a particular House will be made members of said House.
House McTavish
The housemaster is Headmaster Ian McTavish. This House is neutral in competitive matters due to Ian’s position. Only exceptional honor students or those with exemplary untapped paranormal potential are invited to apply for membership. Only students 12 years of age or older are accepted. Within this House, they will receive personal training from the Sorcerer Supreme Ian McTavish. They will have awesome access to one of the greatest magical minds on Earth, far beyond that of the average student! They will be on the fast track to becoming one of McTavish’s Sorcerers Apprentices!
This is for alpha scholars who want to ascend to the next level of magic and supernatural supremacy. They must leave their egos at the door and dedicate their lives to aiding fellow students of all houses. However, they may also remain members of their original Houses and compete with them. When representing themselves as House McTavish, they must remain fair and neutral in all matters. Those permanently leaving their original assigned Houses and completely dedicating their educational experience to House McTavish will reap priceless rewards that will see them through a long life of serious success!
The McTavish sigil features the colors green for the magic of Mother Nature along with yellow for sunlight and orange for the power of fire. Flames of the bold dragon and the courage of conviction it represents. Hints of red indicate righteous anger channeled into justice for the innocent. A sword of power represents the coming battle against the forces of darkness!🐉
